A glimpse of my sweet crepes for the cookbook…

Apricot-Blueberry-Ricotta and Pineapple-Cherry-Pecan-Ricotta…

Raw Sugar and a Torch? these are a few of my favorite things…

pineapple, banana, cinnamon cream, raw sugar…one of my former inn guests named them “Cairns” for the directional rock stacks on the hiking trails in Acadia National Park. This was a favorite on our breakfast menu…it will be in the cookbook!

note: when torching, make SURE your plate isĀ oven-proof…do as I say, not as I do (I blew up non-tempered glass plates when torching the fruit at the inn for our last breakfast of the season a couple years back!)

An Edible Maine Morning Sunrise…

Papaya, Mango, Strawberries, Lemon, Purple Basil Simple Syrup…a great way to start the day. In The Art of Breakfast cookbook, stay tuned…

Blackberry Mascarpone Cream Scones – will they make it into my cookbook?

A twist on my plain Cream Scones recipe…this one layered with whipped cream, strawberries and yellow kiwi. A twist on a shortcake!

Coconut, Watermelon and Lime Sorbet

working on the cookbook…sorbets are a great way to use leftover fruit! and I always try to use the fruit in its natural form as a garnish or serving vessel!
